From the outset, Air Liquide Advanced Technologies chose to capitalise on innovation and set its sights fi rmly on the future. The Sassenage site opened in 1962 in the conviction that cryogenics had a sound industrial future. The first applications soon saw the light of day in the space industry. As the years passed, teams of experts have transformed the ideas of a few pioneers in the course of a remarkable journey.
